Its funny. I still haven't seen the whole episode. It is a good show. I've just seen bits of it. It does attract a lot of attention to the road and would be nice, when it airs on PBS, for us to know in advance. I was amazed at the number of hits our site got.

Well I thought to get things started, I would post a link to Huell Howser's Ridge Route episode from 2003 (Road Trip episode 122, video hosted by Chapman University). This is the show that got me interested in the ridge route. Lots of old cars, wonderful scenery and great info. Give it a watch.

What is your favorite section or location along the Ridge Route? Mine is the climb between Kelly's and Reservoir Summit where the concrete paving gets superelevated to a more extreme amount. It also has a lot of animal prints within the paving.
