If you see vehicles that shouldn’t be on the road, like big rigs and the like, or see things that seem suspicious, please contact us! We will report these things to the Forest Service. Before you report to us, make sure to get as many details as possible.
We are looking for:
- Date and Time
- Direction of Travel
- Location Spotted
- Number of Vehicles
- Type of Vehicle
- Description of Vehicle and Occupants
- Anything else you think could be helpful.
We want to avoid problems such as the events of January 26, 2021 when three big-rigs traveled the roadway and damaged the pavement. We also want to ensure fires don’t start on the Ridge Route which can damage the historic roadway. Help us by letting us know! We will report it to the proper agency.
